Zippo lighter features a design of the original Zippo factory and Windy

This Zippo lighter features a design inspired by the original Zippo factory and the iconic “Windy” figure.

In 1932, ZIPPO Manufacturing Company began in a single room on the second floor of the Rickerson & Pryde building. The ground floor was a tire shop. While ZIPPO now operates a large headquarters, factory, and museum, it all started in that modest upstairs space. The photo depicted here is one of the most iconic images representing the company’s origin.

This vintage series Zippo lighter is printed with that historic photo from the company’s founding. Additionally, the legendary “Windy” figure, known as a ZIPPO symbol, is engraved using a double-luster technique. This special process gives the design a unique finish, resembling etched glass.
